Brisbane City Centre in 1959!

Here's a picture from Flickr to show what Brisbane looked like back in 1959. Looks like the Brisbane CBD has changed a bit since those days!

I've also just realised that the city centre streets are named after Kings and Queens:
"Downtown, the streets follow a grid pattern, with names loyally drawing on royalty: north-south streets are kings, and east-west streets are queens."

Seems obvious now! :)
